Church on the Lawn and BBQ + Potluck

Join us for and afternoon of church family fellowship after the regularly scheduled morning service.
- BBQ pork, drinks, and tableware will be provided by the church!
- Sign up in the foyer so we can know how much meat to prepare.
- Each family should bring 1 large side dish OR dessert to share - indicate which one you will bring when you sign up. Plan on keeping your dish cool until lunch time.
- Bring lawn chairs/picnic blankets and a shade canopy (if you have one).
- An afternoon service with music and testimonies will begin at 12:30 followed by fellowship and yard games!
- No evening service. Enjoy time with your family!

Dad's Pie Night 2018

While playing, we'll learn how fellow believers throughout history have found a way to worship Jesus even under difficult circumstances. You won’t want to miss “Underground Church!” We’ll start and end at the church but we'll play the game at the Carter’s in Derby.

Summer Camp 2018

High School and Middle schoolers! Plan now for summer camp! For both camps we are attending Iowa Regular Baptist Camp in Ventura, IA.
Here are the details:
Middle School Camp – July 8-14
o This camp is for students who are currently in 6-8 th grade.
High School Camp – July 22-28
o This camp is for students who are currently in 9-12 th grade.
Registration for both camps is due May 6. Turn in registration forms (download and print this pdf or pick one up at the table by the church office) and $25.00 non-refundable registration fee to Pastor Bowman (make checks payable to “CBC”).
The final cost is $315.00 per camper.

Resurrection Sunday 2018

Celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
April 1, 2018
Beginning at 9:00 am, join us in the gym for the Sunday School Breakfast. A free continental breakfast will be provided for all ages. The breakfast will include ham cubes, cheese cubes, nuts, hard-boiled eggs, sweet rolls, and fruit. Juice, coffee, and tea will also be available.
When the lesson begins, children age 2 and under are welcome to attend the child care provided in ParkPlace. All other classes (3 year olds through adults) will remain in the gym for a combined lesson time.
At 10:30, morning worship begins in the auditorium. Praise the Lord with the choir as they present Wondrous Love, a cantata that speaks of the Suffering Servant, Crucified Christ, and Risen Redeemer!

Awana GO Reach Kids! 2018

Reaching kids all around the world!
You're invited to help us reach boys and girls from all around the world.
For every $10 raised, a child will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. It will provide the tools and people to disciple them to have lifelong relationship with Christ.
We call this Program the "Awana Go Reach Kids."
From January 17 through March 7, 2018, we will be collecting donations from our clubbers and leaders.
Even if you are not part of the Awana ministry, you can still be involved! Donations can be given during any offering by designating to "Awana Go."
