VBS Debriefing Report

Posted by Alan on July 11, 2014

Mission Accomplished, Agents!

Praise the One True God for His work at VBS June 23-27, 2014.

183 kids heard the gospel and were encouraged by godly volunteers.

5 kids trusted in the One True God with all their hearts.

2 shopping carts carried overflowing baskets of food for needy Derby families.

And many volunteers helped lead, counsel, teach, register, play with, photograph, and feed the kids. As well as cleaning up, acting in the skit, making crafts, and busing them home, just to name a few things.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for VBS, gave food for the food drive, donated snacks, and devoted their time to the kids.

We're looking forward to next summer. See you then!

You can also watch some of the dramatized skits from the week on our YouTube channel. (Don't forget to like and subscribe!)

Over and out.

Food Drive = Success!

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to fill an entire truck bed with food for Heaven’s Hands Ministry.

IMG_1933.JPG

The kids at VBS brought non-perishable food all week to fill two shopping carts (provided by Dillons, thanks!)

Many more people brought food to add to the Food Drive Table.

Praise God for allowing us to have a part in meeting the needs of others. But it doesn’t have to stop now. Heaven’s Hands (and other food pantries) always need donations. Consider how you can continue helping those in need.
