Light Up Wichita!

Teens! Sat., March 16, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. we are going to go street witnessing in Wichita.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to witness and to gain experience while spreading the light. Before we head out we will have a short introductory “how to” session; we will then head out into groups to share the gospel.
When we are finished, we will come back to the church where we will eat dinner and discuss the day. Sign up at the bulletin board by the church office by Sunday, March 10.
Parent & Teen Scavenger Hunt

Teens and Parents: follow the clues and find the prize! Saturday, February 9th from 7:00 to 9:00pm is the Parent/Teen Scavenger Hunt! This evening is for 7-12th graders and their parents. Child care will be provided for younger kids.

New Year's On The Ice

Come ring in the New Year with ice skating, messages from God’s Word, pizza, and fun games. We’re going to the Wichita Ice Arena for ice skating and Broom Ball! You won’t want to miss it.
The activity begins at 7:00 pm and ends at 1:00 am; we’ll begin and end at the church. The cost is $3 per person (ice skate and Broom Ball equipment rental included!)

Choral Clinic Concert

Calvary Baptist Church of Derby, KS hosted the 2012 Choral Clinic on Nov 8-11. The special guest conductor was Dr. Irving Van Hooser from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. He also brought "New Life"--a traveling music team of students from the college.

Teens and College and Career, the time has come again! Sunday, August 5, 7:30-9:30 after the evening service, Youth vs. College and Career in the battle that will break the 1 to 1 tie! Come out and have a great time playing in the Dodge Ball-O-Rama 3 tournament. All teens and college and career are invited to play. Dinner will be provided. May the best team win!

Derby Service Day!

Teens, save the date, Saturday, May 12.
We are going to have a work day serving the city of Derby through work projects at Rock River Rapids. This is going to be a great time to serve the community and work together for God’s glory. Wear your work clothes and come ready to get dirty! Be sure to sign up at the bulletin board by the church office by Wednesday, May 9.
Schedule/What to bring:
• Meet at the church at 8:30 am
• Bring a sack lunch
• Ending at English Park for dinner(Dinner provided by CBC)
• Be picked up at English Park at 6:00 pm.
