Passover is the annual festival of remembrance celebrated worldwide by the Jewish people and many Christians.
On April 7, we will conduct a special service and meal called a Seder. At Passover, we remember the deliverance of the ancient Israelites from the bondage of slavery in Egypt. The blood of the lamb was spread on the door frame so the Death Angel would pass over.
We also remember how God made possible all mankind's ultimate deliverance from the bondage of sin by the blood of another lamb, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
You don't want to miss this special evening. Experience a traditional Jewish Passover Seder with an emphasis on Jesus the Messiah and His Last Supper. This night will certainly be different from any other - come celebrate your deliverance with us!
This event is free - tickets are required.
Sign up at the table in the foyer to reserve your place!
Children are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Evening Events:
5:00 - 6:00 Seder
This will be an enjoyable, family-oriented time recreating a Passover meal in the dining room of a Jewish family. Each table will display the traditional elements, and we will go through the meal step-by-step explaining the significance of each part.
More than a Jewish tradition, this time together will be a joyous remembrance of our deliverance from the bondage of sin through the death of the Lamb - Jesus Christ.
6:00 - 7:00 Meal
The Seder service will be followed by a church-family dinner.
The meal will be provided by the church.
7:00 - 7:30 Seder Conclusion
We will wrap up this special evening of blessing and remembering God's goodness and provision.
