Pastor Bowman's Farewell Reception

On Sunday morning, February 11, Pastor Bowman shared with the church his decision to resign as Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. March 3rd is Pastor Bowman's last Sunday, and we will have a fellowship after the evening service as an opportunity for you to express your appreciation to Pastor Caleb and Amie for serving here at Calvary for the past 16 years -- both as youth pastor and senior pastor.
March 3rd is also our Calvary Kids' spring choir program, "The Bible Tells Me So Show," which highlights many of the wonderful promises in God's Word. The program will begin in the sanctuary at 6:00 PM. Following the program, the fellowship will take place in the gym at 7:00 PM.
Everyone is invited to the gym for refreshments and games for the kids. You are welcome to invite visitors to come to the program and they are also welcome to join us for the fellowship as well.
We will have a card and gift card shower for the Bowmans. Gift cards can help them as they prepare to sell their house and make their move to Michigan to be near extended family. Please be in prayer for their family as they finish the school year here in Derby and make this transition.
